2023 CHARGED UP
In CHARGED UPSM presented by Haas, FIRST® Robotics Competition teams will prepare for a challenge that is fully charged to inspire your team to see the potential of energy storage in a new light. Watch the season kickoff January 7, 2023 for the game reveal.
CHARGED UP, presented by Haas, is an exciting and fast-paced competition that invites two competing alliances to bring energy to their community by retrieving cones and cubes and scoring them in a grid. The game features both autonomous and driver-controlled periods, during which teams can score points by retrieving and scoring game pieces, as well as docking on or engaging with their charge station. Teams will need to strategize and work together in order to emerge as the top alliance in this exciting game.

With the challenge set before us at the beginning of the season, our members created a complex design process that featured multiple designs and renderings. This continued until the finalized version was created: MANTIS. Through the course of the season, members were able to extend their skills and learn new ones such as CAD and fabrication. As a 5-year program, AvengerRobotics and its new members have developed a variety of technical skills through MANTIS.
